Further Development Opportunities

We are exploring the introduction of Advanced Development groups for players who sit between our Development Centre and JPL Select levels.

These groups aim to provide a more consistently challenging environment, with players training alongside others of a similar level and accessing more appropriate fixtures.

Sessions will remain at the same venues and times, with flexibility to combine groups across nights where needed.

Over the coming weeks, we will continue assessing players and trial how these groups could work in practice, with the goal of creating more consistent groupings and stronger development opportunities.

All players will still receive regular fixtures — this structure simply helps us match players to the right level.

As always, we will consider friendships and do our best to keep players with preferred groups where possible.

The Calcio Adv Development groups would have termly matches vs our JPL Select teams, fixed groups for certain fixtures and an expectation that with at least 2 weeks notice before fixtures, all players chosen can attend.
